Time for me to catch my breath and organize for the remaining part of the month! Do you all go through little rituals before tackling a project? For instance, I have to pick-up my office BEFORE settling into design every week or two. This habit was definitely reinforced *inspired* by my Mom telling me as a teenager, "Before you go anywhere, CLEAN YOUR ROOM!" LOL! So, to catch my breath is more like clearing my head by doing mundane, yet necessary tasks *chores* like house and yard work. I always feel so much more productive after it's done albeit begrudgingly sometimes! It clears dusty old ideas out of my head and makes way for new ones! And I love admiring how pretty it all looks in the end and that it's off the To Do List!
Promise me that you'll do something before Mother's Day weekend, like clear off your desks, spiffy us a cluttered room or space and for your reward, enjoy a cupcake!
